What is
HIGH FIVE?
HIGH FIVE® is a global quality standard for recreation and sport developed by Parks and Recreation Ontario with the support and endorsement of the Province of Ontario.
They provide resources, training, and processes for organizations in Ontario that provide recreational programming for kids ages 4 - 12.
At LYKKE Kids, we love that HIGH FIVE supports organizations to ensure QUALITY programming for kids.
HIGH FIVE®
supports Five Principles
that research indicates are essential
for quality programs:
a caring leader
opportunities to make friends
opportunities to play
opportunities to master skills
opportunities to participate
At LYKKE Kids, we care about
the same things, and strive to provide
an environment that nurtures
these principles.
We have taken courses with HIGH FIVE and use their materials to guide our planning and reflect on our programming.
We’re proud to be
a registered organization
with HIGH FIVE.
