Offerings

  • LYKKE Kids offers a different kind of learning experience.

    During weekdays, we are teaching kiddos ages 3 - 7 yrs in our Creative, Curious + Kind programs.

    On weekends, we open our doors so kiddos + their families can join in the experience!
    - We offer LYKKE Saturdays, with our atelierista on site from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

  • We started in 2024 with a simple idea: give kids a place to play and spend time with other kids. But as we watched children interact in the space, we began to see the possibility of creating something more intentional.

    Today, LYKKE Kids creative thoughtful learning experiences shaped by our observations of children, what we’re learning, and what we believe children need to thrive.

    LYKKE Kids has evolved into an innovative hub for learning how to best support the well-being of kiddos through: our programs, weekend offerings, and outreach.

    Our doors are open on weekends, if you and your family would like to visit our space. On LYKKE Saturdays, families can visit between 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. Our atelierista is on site between 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Families can also make a reservation to visit the space on Sundays.   • Slow Sundays will return Sunday, Sept. 20th! (were paused over the summer)

    And families love them! We welcome families to visit on Sundays by reservation (made in advance through our website). With a small number of spots available, families enjoy a slow, Sunday feeling.

  • A reservation link at the top of our website every Friday morning at 8 a.m.

    The cost of a visit for Slow Sunday is a visit for your family and a Slow Sunday add-on ($15 / family).

    The reservation link stays up until 5 p.m. on Saturday. After that time, if any spots remain, we’ll share with families through our Instagram stories so they can walk-up the next day for those remaining Slow Sunday spots.

  • No, we don’t host birthday parties. Our space is used for learning programs and families can join in on weekends.

    There are lots of great places in the neighbourhood that do host parties though!

The Space

  • We find that once the kiddos leave, they feel done for the day. And for that reason, we don’t do in and out.

  • You’re more than welcome to take photos of your own kiddo (without other visiting children in the picture).

    We ask that you not take photos and videos of the space as we have photos up of children in our programs (for their privacy). If wanting to tell / show friends, invite them to come over one weekend!

  • Of course! Feel free to bring your own nut-free snacks for your visit. We have an eating area at the back, along with high chairs you’re welcome to use. And in case you’re wondering, we don’t have a microwave.

  • No thank you, it’s not our vibe. We’re about grown-ups and kids spending quality time together and having fun.

  • LYKKE Kids is meant as a place where you can unplug and escape the noise + busyness of life.

    If you find that you need to make a quick call, we can show you a space where you can do that.

  • Yes, please. For hygiene reasons and with little ones crawling around, we ask that you wear socks in the space.

Visit

  • Yes, they do. You’re welcome to use your visit within 60 days of purchase for LYKKE Saturday (not for special event days or Slow Sunday).

  • We honour our policies. If families aren’t able to come on the day they had planned, they’re welcome to visit on another LYKKE Saturday within 2 months (60 days) of purchase. After that time, the visit expires and can not be extended.

    We let families know on the Pay for a Visit page and have included information in the check out process as well to make sure everyone knows.

    These policies have been created to ensure that we can sustain and maintain a well-loved neighbourhood space. Thank you for your support.

  • No, gift cards do not expire. We look forward to seeing you!

  • Kids AND grown-ups purchase visits to visit LYKKE Kids. If you have a newborn (0 - 3 months old), they are free!

    Our space is unique in that it's designed for all members of your family. There's something for everyone to enjoy (the grown-ups too!) Your purchase helps us create a beautiful, engaging learning space for kids + families of all ages to enjoy. Thank you!

  • We’d love for you to come to the event! And a one-time visit intended for a visit on a regular LYKKE Saturday can’t be used to attend a special event. Check details for the event to see what’s required so you can join in!

  • We love gift cards! They’re the best gifts, and they can be used to visit us for LYKKE Saturday or extended hours over the winter or summer holidays)

    If you’d like to visit the space for a special event or Slow Sunday, you’ll need to purchase a visit needed for that particular day.

  • We love when kiddos get to enjoy time with their favourite people! And for each grown-up who visits, they would pay for a visit for themselves.

  • You’ll notice that the price per person is less with the larger groups (a visit for a family of 4 or a family of 5-6 people). That’s very intentional. It’s our way of trying to support larger families with multiple children and to encourage grandparents to join families as well. It’s who those visits are for, and we’d really like to be able to keep offering this for them.

    So if visiting with a group of friends (which we think is awesome!), we ask that you each pay for your own visits or if someone is treating the group, please add the appropriate visits to your cart (e.g., 3 friends visiting each with a kiddo, add three 2 person visits to your cart).

  • A great option for families who are looking to spend quality time together as a family on weekends and in a way that is fun and engaging for all members of the family (grown-ups too!)

    Use LYKKE Monthly to choose two LYKKE Saturdays and if wishing to come to Slow Sunday, just make a reservation so we know you’re coming + purchase the Slow Sunday add-on ($15 / family).

    LYKKE Monthly auto-renews every 30 days from the date of purchase so your family is all set for another month of fun. Pause or cancel after having LYKKE Monthly for 6 months (from the date of purchase).

    If visits aren’t used, they are not forwarded to the next month.
