Our Program
Our morning is filled with play, stories, and creation.
Soft Start
Kiddos arrive anytime after 9 a.m.
Free play gives kids time to settle in and feel grounded before we come together.
Community Circle
We gather for a shared experience - whether it’s a story, a song, something playful. We value time together and listening to one another.
Shared Snack
We learn to set the table, sit together, and share food over conversation.
Creative Learning
Kids bring their ideas to life using a variety of materials - whether drawing, painting, construction and more. We have fun being curious together.
Flow of the Day
So it’s “just” play?!
Yes, and some of the greatest leaders
in education worldwide are
huge supporters of play. We are too.

Interesting Facts
In countries like Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand and Australia, 3 and 4 year olds participate in morning only programs (half days)
Benefits of short-day programs for children include: strong social skills, better emotional regulation, love of learning, play-based cognitive growth, a smooth transition to formal school, with balance between home and school.
Most research suggests that for many 3 - 4 year olds, the optimal amount of formal early childhood programming is roughly 2 - 5 hours per day and/or 2 - 4 days a week (provided the program is high quality)
Across multiple countries, studies repeatedly show that a high-quality part-day program can be more beneficial than a low-quality full-day program
Key quality factors include: well trained teachers, low child-to-teacher ratios, play-based, developmentally appropropriate curriculum, warm and responsive relationships, and a rich language environment
Developmental research emphasizes that for 3-4 year olds, time at home still matters a lot for: attachment and emotional security, unstructured play, family relationships, rest and downtime

FAQs
Does my kiddo need to use the washroom independently?
Yes, please. Our program is suited for kiddos who are using the washroom on their own. We have a toddler sized washroom downstairs that kiddos LOVE because everything is their size and within reach.
Do I need to pack a snack?
No, we got it! We love that you don’t have to worry about packing one. We set the table together, gather and enjoy a morning snack.
